Shipping policy

SHIPPING POLICY

We deliver timber lining products throughout Australia using our freight-carrier network. Samples and eligible small accessories are generally sent through Australia Post.

Available delivery methods and estimated charges are displayed at checkout based on the products in your order and the delivery address provided.

ORDER PROCESSING AND DISPATCH

For eligible in-stock freight orders every effort it made to dispatch these within the same trading day on weekdays, although this is not always possible.

Orders are processed Monday to Friday, excluding NSW public holidays.

INCOMING-STOCK ORDERS

Some products may be available to order from an incoming shipment. Where an order includes incoming stock, an approximate dispatch date will be shown before purchase where available.

Unless otherwise agreed, the complete order will be dispatched when all products are available. We do not automatically split orders into separate deliveries.

Incoming-shipment dates are estimates and may change because of manufacturing, international shipping, customs, quarantine or transport delays. We will contact you if a material delay affects your order.

ORDER TRACKING

When your order is dispatched, we will send a shipping confirmation email containing the available carrier consignment number or tracking information.

Tracking information may take some time to become active after the carrier collects the shipment. Please check your spam or junk folder if you do not receive the dispatch email.

WAREHOUSE PICKUP

Eligible orders can be collected from:

Timber Linings
1/5 Lawson Crescent
Coffs Harbour NSW 2450

Warehouse pickup is free.

Please wait until we confirm that your order is ready before travelling to the warehouse. Collections are available by prior arrangement during our trading hours:

Monday to Friday, 8:00 am–4:00 pm
Excluding NSW public holidays

MAINFREIGHT DEPOT COLLECTION

For suitable freight orders, checkout may offer collection from the nearest available Mainfreight or partner depot.

The depot name, address, collection hours and estimated transit time will be displayed at checkout where available. Any distance shown is an estimate based on the delivery postcode or address.

You are responsible for collecting the order from the nominated depot during its operating hours and within any collection period advised by the carrier.

Please ensure your vehicle, trailer and load-restraint equipment are suitable for the length and weight of the timber packs being collected. The depot may request identification and the carrier consignment number before releasing the order.

RESIDENTIAL DELIVERY

Residential delivery is provided through our freight-carrier network using a HIAB for a kerbside delivery to your address.

Before dispatch, we may contact you to confirm site access, delivery arrangements and how the order will be safely unloaded. A responsible person must be available to receive the order unless another arrangement has been confirmed.

 Please tell us about restricted access, steep driveways, narrow roads, overhead obstructions or other relevant site conditions before dispatch.

BUSINESS AND SITE DELIVERY

Business and site delivery is available for suitable addresses.

A forklift or other appropriate unloading equipment is likely to be required. You or your authorized representative must be present to receive and safely unload the order unless a different arrangement has been confirmed in writing.

Please provide accurate information about business hours, site access and unloading facilities. Construction sites must be safe and accessible for the carrier’s vehicle.

If suitable unloading equipment or safe access is unavailable, the carrier may be unable to complete delivery.

DELIVERY ADDRESSES AND ADDITIONAL CHARGES

You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address, postcode, contact name and telephone number.

Freight deliveries cannot be made to PO boxes.

If the supplied address is incorrect, incomplete or materially different from the address type selected at checkout, we may place the order on hold and contact you before dispatch.

Reasonable redelivery, address-correction, storage or waiting-time charges imposed by the carrier may be payable where they result from:

  • incorrect or incomplete delivery information;

  • nobody being available to receive the order;

  • unsuitable or unsafe site access;

  • unavailable unloading equipment; or

  • failure to collect an order from a freight depot within the required period.

We will communicate any known additional charge before arranging a further delivery wherever reasonably possible.

SAMPLES AND SMALL ACCESSORIES

Samples and eligible small accessories are generally sent using Australia Post.

The available service and any applicable charge will be shown at checkout. Tracking will be provided where included with the selected postal service.

Orders containing long timber products may be shipped separately from samples or small accessories.

DELIVERY ESTIMATES

Estimated delivery times are displayed during checkout where available. Estimates are measured in business days and may vary by destination, carrier route and depot schedule.

Delivery estimates are not guaranteed. Delays may occur because of extreme weather, road closures, freight-depot disruption, carrier congestion or other events outside our reasonable control.

If you have a fixed installation date, please allow additional time and do not schedule trades until the products have arrived and been inspected.

RECEIVING AND INSPECTING YOUR ORDER

Please inspect the outside of the shipment before accepting or collecting it where reasonably possible.

If visible freight damage is present:

  • note the damage on the carrier’s delivery record where possible;

  • take clear photographs of the packaging, labels and affected products; and

  • email hello@timberlinings.com.au as soon as reasonably possible with your order number and photographs.

Reporting visible damage within 24 hours helps us raise a carrier investigation promptly, but this requested timeframe does not limit any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.

After delivery, timber products should be moved to a suitable dry location and stored flat, supported and protected in accordance with the applicable storage and installation instructions.

If tracking shows an unexpected delay or you experience a delivery problem, you may use the carrier contact information included with your tracking details or contact us at hello@timberlinings.com.au.
